CASE STUDIES
Harry Phantis
EXPERIENCE: Trialist at Fulham and Stevenage.
CURRENT: National Squad for Independent Schools England.
PROBLEMS: Low self-confidence on the pitch, feeling ‘restricted’ in his play, fear of failure, loss of enthusiasm, too keen to impress, putting too much pressure on himself.
SOLUTIONS: I just do it now, play with freedom in pressurised environments, play with a clear mind, have a boost of self-confidence.

HARRY’S FEEDBACK
-
“I believe in my goals now. They are possible.”
-
“I’m enjoying my football whatever and I often don’t want the match to end rather than waiting to hear the final whistle.”
-
“You might not think that something like this would make a difference, because you’ve never seen it happen before, but when you experience it, it’s different, it completely changes your outlook.”
HARRY’S PARENTS
-
“He’s enjoying it again, that’s the number one thing. He’s eager to get to football, get out the car, play he’s buzzing after and wants to talk about it.”
-
“We had discussions, before he had his session with you, where we thought, we need to stop this. We can’t put him through this, we can’t watch this. It was torture!”
-
“He’s gone on this journey with you and he’s believing in himself again. He’s no longer hiding on a football pitch. You can hear him on the pitch. It gave me goose bumps again."
Finley Fletcher

FINLEY’S FEEDBACK
-
“Through football, school, and in my daily life, it’s helped me in so many ways and changed me as a person! My parents see it, my family sees it and it’s made me feel comfortable in myself when I’m playing football.”
-
“If I’m being honest, if I wasn’t using the exercises and the programme, I don’t think I would have achieved my goals.”
-
“It made me prepare for everything I was doing, and how I was doing it, I wanted to do my best in everything I was doing.”
-
“Most of your thinking, when it comes to football, is what we’ve done in the past 12 weeks. It does really play a big part.”
FINLEY’S MUM
-
“It’s been amazing to see his dedication and wanting to learn, that’s come from his work with you. I truly believe there is a widespread need for this type of support.”
